What Every Buyer Needs to Know About Home Inspections

This is Part 3 of my home buying series on The E6:12 Show. I’m joined by Dan Wiles of Wiles Inspection Services. Dan is a licensed builder with nearly 30 years in construction and almost 10,000 inspections under his belt. He’s been an extension of my team for close to a decade, and there’s nobody I trust more to protect my buyers.

Here’s something most people don’t know. In Michigan, you don’t need a license or certification to perform home inspections. I tell buyers all the time, someone can put a magnet on their car and call themselves a home inspector, and the phone could ring. That’s why who you hire matters more than most people realize.
